Designed for reliablility
RS1226RP+/RS1226+ come with two 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports which can be bonded with Link Aggregation to enable automatic network failover and load balancing.
Two RS1226RP+/RS1226+ units can be paired using Synology High Availability to form a reliable active/passive server cluster, maximizing service uptime.
Furthermore, the RS1226RP+ features a redundant power supply for an extra edge in service continuity.

Ready for future growth
The RS1226RP+/RS1226+ can be flexibly configured to meet evolving needs through increased storage, local SSD cache, or faster networking.

Storage expansion
Expand up to 288 TB of raw storage3 using 12 drive bays with the RX426 expansion unit.

Built-in M.2 slots
Two integrated M.2 slots support NVMe SSD caching to reduce latency and improve IOPS in HDD arrays, without occupying PCIe expansion slots or front drive bays.

Flexible networking options
Improve I/O performance or add redundancy with 10GbE or 25GbE SFP+/SFP28 networking or 1GbE/10GbE RJ-45 Ethernet adapters.

Automated storage tiering
Synology Tiering automatically moves infrequently accessed data to cost-efficient tiers, balancing performance and capacity to optimize your storage ROI. The RS1226RP+/RS1226+ can be configured as either hot or cold storage, providing the flexibility to complement your existing hardware and infrastructure.
